CHALLENGE

The business as a whole lack automation, data are held in silos and often not easily accessible across the enterprise. Various departments lack the platform to perform their functions effectively although they operate on subsets of the same data (e.g. equipment spec, cost, profitability, servicing and repair records).

SOLUTION

The Mitsubishi Digital Transformation project with Salesforce aims to elevate the business by way of process streamlining and automation. The project scope encompasses all the departments involved in the planning, sales, installation, maintenance and governance of Mitsubishi equipment (elevators, escalators, moving walkways, dumbwaiters etc). The key to the success of this project is the flow of data, from creation of the initial technical specification by the sales department until the replacement/modernization of said equipment and everything that transpired in the span 15 years in between.

Using the combination of Sales, Service Cloud and Field Service Lightning, Mitsubishi today is better positioned to compete in the ever-increasingly competitive market through increased efficiency and ability to make informed decisions based on data collected in Salesforce, and ultimately deliver top quality products and services to customers.
